Open Steering Committee Meeting/Networking Event for Pioneer Valley Local First at Gasoline Alley
Time: From 4 to 6pm
Place: Gasoline Alley Foundation, 250 Albany ST Springfield, MA
On Friday August 8TH, you are cordially invited to the Gasoline Alley Foundation to network with other business and community leaders and to take part in a short, but sweet open Steering Committee for Pioneer Valley Local First. As many members from the various committees will be on hand as possible so this would be a great chance for people interested in joining a committee to learn more about them. In addition to learning more about the Common Good Bank and local investing, we will also be discussing a new committee structure and announcing the creation of a Local Economy Blog on our site. It would be a blog where our members would be strongly encouraged to write in about the cool things their Business/non-profit is doing to care for our area, announce new products made from local resources, etc... We would love to have your involvement and in-put in the direction of Pioneer Valley Local First, so please attend. After the short meeting is over, the rest of the time will be spent networking and enjoying the end of the week.
Refreshments provided, with donations strongly encouraged. This is Friday after all!!
